TARGET PROGRAMS
Light House Youth Center
The International Community Development Light House Youth Center is a non-profit organization that has the primary goal of providing temporary housing for young adults between the ages of 17 and 25.
ICD-LHYC provides crisis intervention and shelter support to at-risk runaway teens and homeless young adults. The support includes assistance with food, clothing, job and education programs, along with counseling in a safe, secure and structured faith-based program.
We will strongly encourage advancing their academic studies, while providing a base for various community organizations to meet and equip these youth with the tools necessary to function as independent successful adults in the community.
PREVENTIVE SERVICES
Self-esteem and confidence building workshops, health care awareness seminars and health care referral services are offered, along with financial and employment workshops to name some of the many programs and services available.
EMERGENCY SHELTER
Shelter services are provided while attendees are stabilized and seeking to secure safe and long term housing.
